Bracelet Styles

Use of bracelets has been around since ancient civilization. They are used as body ornaments depicting the people’s spirituality and religion. However, in the modern day and age, bracelets have been used for fashion and style.

There are a lot of bracelet styles and trends available today in the market. They are made up of various materials such as precious, gemstones, pearls, leather, plastic, rubber, cloth, shells, or wood. The different types include:

• Gemstone bracelets are created with platinum, gold or silver and precious gemstones. The gemstones may surround the wrist or may simply be a focal point

Diamond Tennis bracelets are a subset of gemstone bracelets. These have diamonds surrounding one’s wrist.

• Sports bracelets are made out of rubber and are about a centimeter in width. It is worn fitted around the wrist.

Bangles are solid, thin, and have an inflexible round shape. It could be made of metal or plastic and could have different textures and designs. They could be worn by itself or with several other bangles altogether, either of the same style and color, or by a variety.

• Cuffs are most often made out of metal or leather with some jewels or studs. It is somewhat chunky in the sense that it is rather wide. It is not made round throughout the wrist, rather it has a small slit such that you could fit your wrist through that.

• Charm bracelet consists of a chain or several chains of metal, string, or hemp with adornments of various charms or pendants. This is an interesting piece because you could include different charms which show your personality.

• Beaded bracelets, as implied by the name, consist of a band made out of several beads.

• Chain bracelets are simply series of metal linked to each other forming a chain.
