If you have jewelry you know you will never wear, selling it or remaking it can be a reasonable option. However, if you decide to do so, you want to make certain that you get the best price.

Yet, even with all that information, people often think they will strike it rich. Though you do get needed cash and will be selling something you are (hopefully) not using, reselling jewelry may not be as good as television commercials imply.

I would strongly suggest checking out the Silver and Gold Exchange before selling gold or silver to ANYONE. I did a lot of research on this…. pawn shops, jewelers, “gold parties” hotel “buying events” and various online buyers including the “as seen on tv” guys. I found that not only did the Silver and Gold Exchange pay much more than anyone else I could find, but they post the prices they pay, PER GRAM (not pennyweight!) on a live chart at http://SilverAndGoldExchange.com They also have a perfect Better Business Bureau record and insure everything up to $5000, not $100 like other places. I recommend them 100%
