I was surprised to learn platinum  is considered and &quot;industrial metal.&quot; I love the fact that with platinum you are getting almost completely pure metal (unlike with 18k gold, which is 75% pure).

Aside from the reasons listed above, I&#039;ve found that most women prefer it, either from talking to family and friends or reading statistics that 81% prefer platinum.
