Storing Silver Jewelry

Store silver in plastic bags that have an interlocking seal. Silver is a metal that is meant to be worn, and oxidizes naturally when exposed to air. By storing in plastic bags, your silver stays tarnish free for a much longer time. This is great for finished pieces as well as findings.

This only works if you are sure to not get moisture trapped in the pastic bag. Otherwise the moisture will encourage tarnish.
