The ring finger is Third finger of left hand. The thumb is used THUMBS UP, first finger is accusing finger.Middle finger is - shhhhhh, and ring can get slipped from Pinky.
Now the best and close to heart is finger number 3- most adorned and used for : Made for each other.

Now this is a controversial topic, as in normal cases the ring is in fact worn on the left hand finger closest to the pinky, but there are people that wear it on the right hand, there are even some cultures that wear it on the middle finger. Nice post I am enjoying coming here for interesting facts just like these.

The left hand ring finger is normally the preferred finger, but I do know that in some nationalities like the Greeks they usually wear their engagement and wedding rings on their right hand. Interesting read and information, its great to have a blog like this that is light yet full of all the information that one needs.
